Words of Encouragement

Being a child of God has so many advantages when we tap into and know what the Lord has for us. We need to remember that God has promised us that He will be with us always and will never leave us nor forsake us no matter what we go through. He loves us so much. I think that the promise of a Heavenly home and the promise of His everlasting love and never leaving us is the most important things the Christian should remember as we walk through our time and trials on this earth. If we get a true revelation of just God being WITH US ALWAYS and Him NEVER leaving us, we can make it! I encourage you to look to Him, at all times, no matter what. Imagine a child who has fallen and scraped his knee or bumped his head. The first thing he does when he is in pain or afraid is run to a parent whom He knows will give him the care and comfort he needs! We need to do the same with our Heavenly Father!
We also need to remember that we not only go through trials for our personal growth and benefit but, God wants to use us for His glory. Once, while in the midst of a trial, I was asked for some advice by a person who was going through. I immediately went to God and I kept sensing the words "You are qualified for this". Now, I didn't agree because all I could see was what I was going through at the time. (too much focus on myself) How can I help someone? As I continued to pray, I realized that for what God wanted to use me for and what this woman needed, I HAD BEEN THROUGH. He could use me to speak to it. Think about it. There are jobs in this natural world and things we can not obtain unless we are qualified to receive them. It is the same way in the spirit. If we never go through anything, how can we be qualified to help someone else? None of us like to go through the process but the reward of having "gone through" always outweighs the challenges and the pain. When we go to the doctor, we hope he is qualified to treat us, right? When the police are patrolling the streets or come to our aid, we pray he is qualified to get us out of danger or to protect the public.  BOTH professions have gone through great training to be qualified. I can go on and on. So, it is with spiritual things.  God uses His children on this earth to encourage each other and to help each other. I'm not sure about you but when I'm going through, I want someone there whose been through it to help me! They are able through the Grace of God to help me to make it through! So, the next time you are faced with a trial...seek God on what He is doing in you and what He is QUALIFYING you for!  What an HONOR to be used by almighty God.....
